The business structure

In BIGBAG the areas of fundamental activity are four:

Development of new products
Production
Purchases
Administration

The development area for new products can support the client in the phases of:

Study and design of new lines of jewels or re-examination of classical models optimized in forms producible with smaller difficulties, in order to reduce times and costs of production.
Realization of prototypes by the client's design and exclusive.
Designing and development of prototypes realized automatically by tools for the design and the virtual rendering of the articles, applications CAD/CAM, tools to get a rapid prototype in resin and numerical control millers.
Industrialization of the products and analysis of the costs of production, in collaboration with the client.

The development area for new products is that allows still today to BIGBAG to be particularly appreciated for the promptness and speed in replying and for the innovative and constructive solutions.
BIGBAG has been the first goldsmith firm to introduce in these phases advanced technologies for the design and getting the prototypes of even complex jewels.
The production area works by client's order and can develop, rigorously handmade, all the phases of working process: the realization of the waxes, the fusion and the pressing of the articles, the rough-shaping, the sifting, the assemblage, the laser and traditional welding, the embedding/mounting, the punching and the marking, the finishing touch, the polish and the rhodium-plating.
For the big productions, where it is possible, they have been introduced advanced technologies for the execution of some phases of the working process. At fusion department have been issued two machines for the idling micro fusion; the laboratory is furnished with laser machines for the welding and the intaglio/marking of the articles.
A rigorous quality control is carried out during each phase of the productive process to guarantee the conformity of the product to the specifications of quality of the client, also eliminating imperceptible imperfections with the naked eye.
The business flexibility, typical of an industrial firm, but still artisan, it always allows to satisfy every delivery request; the evolution of the informative systems that allow to trace the advancement in production of the client's orders, it allows to follow daily the state of advancement of the orders to answer to every clients' question quickly.
 

 

The purchase department deals with the provisioning of the precious stones, semi-precious, hard stones and pearls furnished by the firm through direct way of purchase with guarantee of elevated quality of the materials.
The administration department deals with the management of the business accounting, of the store, of the balance and the financial management. The level of evolution of the management systems allows to the firm to interface on line with the clients for the acquisition of the orders and the communication of the state of advancement of the same.
The structure of the BIGBAG can count on around 40 employees today, 34 of whom busy in production.
